much needed mental health day off by herself. >> i went on first and apologize profusely to my mom. then i went to the police station. they said what is going on. >> she told them about her year of spiraling down into this enigmatic man's strange world and the lies, of her undercover hunt for the true. the police launched a criminal investigation of their own. they made their move. mischele was debate . >> i said this is where i'm going to be, and this is the route that i think he takes. catch him. >> she set up a date with jordan to run errands, telling him she would pick him up in town. >> i got there about two minutes before the meeting time and for once he was on time. >> she rolled down the window to hear him say he had to pop into the pharmacy, but it would be back in a jiffy >> i get on the phone with the police and tell them he is here and have to come right now.

i was panicking at that point and hyperventilating on the phone. >> the frantic thought is if jordan jumped into the car before the cops nabbed him, what would he do if he was surrounded question mark now jordan was done with his errant. >> at that point in time it to stop any came out of the pharmacy and about to cross over to the street to me. >> every step poster was terrifying but then the police swarmed in. >> they came in, intercepted him and arrested him. >> he took a good long look to you at that point, didn't he? >> he did. i want to stare him down and let him know i was the one that took him down, but when the time came, i was unnerved by it. >> provided in part by evidence mischele provided them, booked for impersonating a law enforcement officer and third appearance that is surprising to some, sexual assault. mischele lewis claims she was the victim of a crime only starting to get recognized in u.s. courtrooms, sexual assault by fraud. >> because nothing i knew about

him was true. >> she said she was sexually assaulted by jordan not by force but by his lies. >> i could not give them knowing consent to any kind of sexual relationship because i had no idea who on earth i was sleeping with. >> her case suffered a setback months later when the new jersey grand jury failed to indict him on the sexual assault charge. >> they said i could not prove that he was a harm to me. basically because he had not physically hurt me. >> as the case against jordan moved through the court system, mischele wanted to know were there other victims out there. >> i don't know if there is another victim in new jersey, pennsylvania, new york, b.c. or baltimore, or anyone in between. >> mischele wondered if he was living with another mother and her children in the cherry hill house like he once said two lies and wise in scotland. dateline found out more about

that cherry hill property >> maybe you don't know that the landlord of the property said he lived there but that he was a victim. he would not pay rent. >> i did not know that. >> had never known that and that he lived there with a woman, identity unknown, and a child? >> that is shocking. that is shocking. there is someone else, at least one someone else but god knows because i don't know if that was his child or her child. >> if there were other children of jordan out there, mary turner thomson's girls were raggedy -- ready to welcome them into their unusual family. she skype's with some of her many siblings >> we all look exactly alike. >> many of the children of jordan felt hurt by all he left behind. >> i know loads of them that are really damaged, really damaged by it. >> the girls were glad to hear

that jordan had been arrested. >> as nice as it would be to have more siblings, it would be easier for everyone if he just took a break and stopped. >> after his arrest, mary and her children were rooting for mischele lewis as she faced him in the courtroom. in 2015 he pleaded not guilty. >> it is laughable that he pleaded not guilty. i have so much evidence on it, i don't know if he even realizes how much evidence i collected on him. >> after negotiations between attorneys, william allen jordan accepted of plea deal of three years in state prison for theft by deception. three years later he is free and and october 2016 jordan is granted early release from prison with credits for good behavior for his work in prison and time already served in county jail. through his attorney jordan declined to speak to dateline.
